Our seedlings are started in a compost based, organically approved, soil mix produced by Vermont Compost in Montpelier VT.  Their compost blend introduces living microbes and provides a perfect media for young plants.

Our transplants are presented in biodegradable Jiffy-pots and six-packs.  By planting the whole pot, transplant shock is minimized as the roots are not disturbed.  Plastic waste from conventional packs is also reduced.

We also offer traditional hanging baskets and larger plastic pots, all filled with the same compost based soil mix.
